Work groups are a vital time at each year's fall retreat. They involve connecting around real-time, relevant issues you are facing, receiving direct, immediate feedback, and learning from one another. These sessions provide an opportunity to exercise the best practices of high-performing teams. Participants are divided into small groups. Group members bring a single issue to the working group to receive carefully structured feedback. To make the working group time the most meaningful, these sessions require participants to prepare their issue in advance.
Please summarize a current issue you face at your school in a simple format that cogently lays out a problem for the group to consider. Each working group member will receive your document to understand a basic framework for the issue. Groups will be pre-selected to provide a variety of experiences at each table. This year, there will be only two sessions for our work groups, so please submit yours ASAP!
